At the start of the season, our team will come to your property to get your driveway ready for snow removal. We'll carefully place Ottawa Snow Blowing markers along both sides of your driveway, setting clear boundaries for our tractors to follow during service

Relax and leave the work to us! Throughout the season, our team will be dispatched whenever there's a snowfall of 5 cm or more. Our advanced routing system will notify you when we're on our way. On days with heavy snowfall, we'll also conduct cleanup runs to clear any debris or blockages left by city plows, ensuring your property remains accessible.

Which areas do you cover?

We are currently offering our services to clients within the Westboro and Findlay Creek areas. 

What is the size of my driveway?

Driveway sizes are categorized by width and the number of cars they can accommodate comfortably. For a visual guide, please visit the services page on our website. If your driveway doesn't match any of the listed categories, please fill out our custom driveway form for personalized assistance.

Do you offer hand shoveling?

We are currently only offering hand shoveling to our senior customers. For more details please ask our staff. 

Do you provide services during the summer?

Yes, we offer summer services through our partner companies. They provide full-service grass cutting, trimming, and both spring and fall cleanup services.

Do you use a plow or a snowblower for snow removal?

We utilize specialized tractors equipped with an inverted snowblower, specifically designed for residential snow removal.

Do you provide flexible payment options?

Certainly! We provide flexible payment options. Please reach out to us for more details!

Can I leave my car in my driveway during snow removal?

You're welcome to leave your vehicle(s) in your driveway; however, we kindly ask that you park them as close to your house as possible. This allows us to clear the maximum amount of snow. We always maintain a safe distance between our equipment and your vehicle(s) to prevent any damage. For further details, please consult our snow blowing guide.

 
 
When does the snow blowing season start?

Our snow blowing season runs from November 15th to April 1st. 

 
Is customer service available during storms?

Yes, our customer service representatives are available throughout all hours of operation during a snow event. To reach us, please fill out this form or email info@ottawasnowblowing.com

 
Can I sign up if I have a gravel driveway?

We do service customers with gravel driveways, but please note that we need a significant snowfall to properly pack down the gravel before clearing your driveway. We cannot guarantee that some gravel won’t be displaced onto your lawn during the process. 

 
When are the driveway markers installed and removed?

We begin placing driveway markers in mid-October and remove them after April 1st. Please do not dispose of the markers, as they are reusable. If you prefer to remove them yourself before April, please place them beside your house or garage and notify us by emailing info@snowblowingottawa.com with your service address so we can arrange to collect them. 

 
Are your tractors safe for sealed, interlock, or concrete driveways?

Our tractors are completely safe for sealed, interlock, and concrete driveways. They actually apply much less stress to your driveway than traditional snow removal equipment.

How will we know if you'll provide service during an upcoming storm?

Before a significant storm, we will notify you of our service plans via email, including details such as the planned dispatch time and whether our alert system will be active. During extended storms, we will also provide ongoing service updates to keep you informed.
